Mark's Priorities

1. Make Minnesota Affordable Again

The costs of healthcare, childcare, and housing are crushing Minnesota families. Minnesota has the third most expensive childcare in the country, averaging almost $2,000 per month for one child. Burdensome regulations prevent people from building enough housing, opening childcare facilities, and providing affordable healthcare.

As your U.S. Senator, I will slash through red tape to make life more affordable for every Minnesotan.

2. Rebuild Minnesota’s Economy

Minnesota ranks 41st in new business creation (US News). Burdensome taxes and regulations have hurt small businesses and blocked the innovation that used to fuel our economy.

Projects like critical mineral production have been stalled for years, costing Minnesotans jobs and keeping our State from prospering. AI is creating vast economic opportunities, but Minnesota risks missing the boat.

I will create policies that support small businesses and make Minnesota the go-to destination for technology entrepreneurs, creating jobs in agriculture and health tech.

3. Security

Minnesota has a crime problem. Our communities are strong when our police, firefighters, and first responders know we support them.

I will stand with those who put themselves in harm’s way so we can be safe. The same is true for our national security. I worked in the Pentagon, and I believe in a strong America that can defend itself and our allies.

4. Our Shared Values

Minnesotans take care of each other. No where is this more true than in rural Minnesota.

Across the state, rural communities want freedom to run their schools, their farms, and their towns the way they know best, not the way bureaucrats in St. Paul or Washington dictate.

I will bring my work ethic and honesty to Washington, where I will stand up for our constitutional rights, life, our families, local autonomy, and our shared Minnesota values.

5. Combat Fraud and Make Government Efficient

Fraud is a double crime: it robs taxpayers of their money, and it robs low-income families of the services they need.

I will work tirelessly to root out fraud and waste across Minnesota and the federal government.

I will advocate for accountability in programs, ending “use it or lose it” federal budget spending, work to balance our federal budget, and fight for policies that will put future generations on a solid financial footing.
